Gate valve

The type of gate valve can be divided into wedge gate valve and parallel gate valve according to the configuration of sealing surface. Wedge gate valve can be divided into: single gate, double gate and elastic gate; parallel gate valve can be divided into single gate and double gate. According to the position of the valve stem thread, it can be divided into two types: open stem gate valve and dark stem gate valve.

  Advantage:

1. The fluid resistance is small, and the sealing surface is less brushed and corroded by the medium.

4. The appearance is simple, the structure length is short, the manufacturing process is good, and the application range is wide.

  shortcoming:

1. Corrosion and scratches are prone to occur between the sealing surfaces, and maintenance is difficult.

2. The size is large, it takes a certain space to open, and the opening and closing time is long.

3. The structure is more complicated.

  Shut-off valve

The globe valve only allows one-way flow of the medium, and it is directional when installed. The structural length of the globe valve is longer than that of the gate valve. At the same time, the fluid resistance is large, and the sealing reliability is not strong during long-term operation.

  Advantage:

1. Simple structure, more convenient to manufacture and maintain.

2. The working stroke is small and the opening and closing time is short.

3. Good sealing performance, small friction of sealing surface and long service life.

4. The structure of the globe valve body includes straight-through type, direct-current type and right-angle type. The straight-through type is a very common structure, but its fluid resistance is very high. The DC fluid resistance is small, and it is mostly used for fluids containing solid particles or high viscosity. The right-angle valve body is mostly forged, which is suitable for the globe valve with small passage and high pressure.

5. The friction force of the sealing surface during the opening and closing process is smaller than that of the gate valve, and it is wear-resistant.

6. Usually there is only one sealing surface, the manufacturing process is good, and it is easy to maintain.

  shortcoming:

1. The fluid resistance is large, and the force required for opening and closing is large.

2. It is not suitable for media with particles, high viscosity and easy coking.

3. Poor adjustment performance.

4. The bellows seal globe valve adopts the bellows seal design, which eliminates the shortcomings of fast aging and easy leakage of ordinary valve stem packing seals. Bellows globe valves not only improve the efficiency of energy use, increase the safety of production equipment, but also reduce maintenance. The expense and frequent maintenance also provide a clean and safe working environment.
